Questions to ponder:
- Does the lay-out of
our home promote time together as a family?
- What time do we
spend together at home as a family and what do we do together?
- Which of us is
responsible for the primary role of homemaker?
- Do I really need all
these things? Are any of them or the clutter they cause preventing me from
making space in our family life for each other and for God?
- Which gadgets do we
really need to run our family life? Are any of them preventing me from
giving my family the time and attention they need and deserve? Can we
dispose of any of them?
- How can I ensure the
gadgets in our home are servants and not masters?
- Does the arrangement
of the things in our home have the family and God as their focal point or
- How do I make space
in our home for God and prayer?
- Does our home
currently give our children the space and time to relax and to refocus
their lives on God?
- If not, how can we
arrange it differently?
